Nursery Practitioner

Full time - 4/5 days per week 07:30am - 6pm

Hourly rate: From £10.50 per hour to £11.25 per hour

Clever Cloggs Day Nursery are seeking to appoint a qualified level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our team. You would be working 4 or 5 days per week covering the hours of 8am - 5pm 5 days per week or 07:30am - 6pm4 days per week.

Clever CloggsDay Nursery is located in a large building which has that home to home feeling. Each room has heating for the winter months and air conditioning for the summer. Each room is spacious, welcoming and homely, with a beautiful open yet cosy feel and rooms have free flow access to the outside space which also has a large, spacious garden. Our Nursery has a biometric security system that only enables staff with their fingerprint on our system to gain access to the Nursery providing you with comfort of no unwanted visitors.

The nursery is open from 07.30am - 6pm all year round and closes between Christmas and New Year.

The nursery is situated near Stansted airport in Takeley.

You will be joining a nursery with ambitious plans, where the staff team are stable, happy and enthusiastic about creating amazing experiences for the children within their care. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated, enthusiastic person, who can work closely within a growing team. You should possess great communication skills and have a calm, approachable nature.

This position would suit someone with previous nursery experience and who has previously worked in a similar environment caring for children aged between 0 - 5 years .

About our Nursery practitioner role:

· To work closely with the Room Leader and other staff in ensuring a smooth running of the daily routine.

· To liaise with nursery staff regarding children's specific needs and requirements.

· To maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment.

· To adhere to all Nursery policies and procedures

· To always meet health and safety and environmental health requirements

· To provide stimulating activities and experiences

· To be passionate, inspiring and work effectively within a team

Essential Criteria - Qualifications/Experience:

Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare Qualification- Essential
Over 2 year's experience working in Early Years- Desirable - Level 3 candidates with minimum 2 years experience will be within a salary band of £22,464 - £23,400.
Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations to achieve a Good or Outstanding rating- Desirable
Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements- Essential
Fluent in written and spoke to English- Essential
