SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN
Required January 2024
37 hours per week term time plus inset day.
Scale 4 - point 7 to 8 £24,294 to £24,702 plus £689 outer London fringe allowance. Pro rata £21,418 to £21,768
We are seeking to appoint a Science Technician, ideally with a background in physics and engineering. Your main role will be to support the department with the preparation of equipment and practical experiments. You will be required to support staff and students with setting up practical lessons, delivery and checking equipment for classes and clearing away after use.
Shenfield High School is a standalone 11-18 Academy with a comprehensive ethos and a commitment to high academic standards supported by a significant investment in pastoral care and wellbeing.
The school is conveniently located close to Shenfield mainline station on the line into London Liverpool Street and home to the eastern terminus of the new cross rail Elizabeth Line. The school's location attracts outer fringe London allowance.
