Contract: Part Time Permanent

Salary: Scale 3 Points5-6 - Actual salary £14,521 -£14,716 (Depending on service)

Hours/Weeks:26.67 hours per week,9.00am - 3.50pm/8.40am-3.00pm,39 weeks per year (term time plus 5 Inset Days)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly team here at The Boswells School. We looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and organised individual to support identified students with special educational needs and/or disabilities to enable them to access the curriculum. You will be working with students across all three key stages and therefore education to A Level standard or equivalent is essential. The knowledge and experience of working with young people is desirable along with good interpersonal and listening skills. The most important resource in any school is its staff and we attribute the success of The Boswells School to our committed and enthusiastic staff. This position may suit someone who is possibly considering teaching as a profession and wants to gain experience and develop their skills within a large secondary school across a range of curriculum areas.

The Boswells School is a large 11-18 secondary school that serves the area of north Chelmsford. The school is an extremely popular, over-subscribed convertor academy that enjoys an excellent reputation in the local and wider community.
