Actual Salary between £21,482 - £22,929
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant who is passionate about working with children and supporting their development. We are seeking someone who has a positive attitude, can work as part of a large, friendly and dedicated team and who preferably holds a Level 4 HLTA qualification.
This role will require the successful candidate to teach in year groups across the primary age-range, providing classroom release time and cover for teachers for PPA, leadership time and in the event of absence. We wish to appoint someone who is eager to work in partnership with colleagues to achieve the highest standards of learning and care for our pupils.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience of working across a wide range of year groups, across both key stages, within primary education.
- Have experience of covering and leading classes across the primary age range.
- Have excellent 'whole class' behaviour management skills.
- Be a team player who is able to accommodate short notice timetable changes.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate well to children, parents and other adults.
- Be committed to putting the needs of our children at the forefront of all that they do.
- Be an excellent role model to our children.
