SEN 1:1 Scale 2 point 3 hours would currently be 9.00am - 1.30pm term time only
We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic, dedicated and capable LSA to work 1:1 with a child with additional learning needs. The post will be on a fixed term contract until the child leaves. Experience of working with pupils, including physical and sensory needs, particularly those with special educational needs would be beneficial.
You will need to be:
· Calm, positive and patient
· Consistent and approachable, setting firm boundaries
· Able to work on your own initiative but also within a team
· Able to listen to and take guidance from colleagues, specialist teachers and other professionals
· Can think creatively to engage, enthuse and motivate children to learn
· Able to build positive relationships with the children and their families
· Able to be active and enthusiastic to keep the child engaged and making progress

The role will include helping to organise resources and working with our SENCo and Inclusion Team members, the child's class teacher & other LSAs to plan and co-ordinate work. All necessary training needed to meet the child's specific needs will be provided for the successful candidate.
