Job Description

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic person to join our catering team for 3 hours a day 11am-2pm, five days a week (term time only).

Key responsibilities for this post include:

· Assist, as directed, with all aspects of the preparation of food and beverages to the standards required by the school

· Undertake washing up and all other aspects of cleaning equipment (light and heavy) on a daily basis

· Serve pupils and staff from the counter or trolley

· Maintain high standards of kitchen and personal hygiene

Successful candidates will need to:

· be enthusiastic and caring individuals

· be calm, flexible team players who are able to workon their own initiative

· have a responsible attitude and friendly demeanour

Previous catering experience would be advantageous, but is not essential.

Pay Range:

Scale 2. Points 3-4

Prorated annual salary - £8,365.36-£8,492.87

Working Hours:

5 days a week 11am to 2pm (equates to 15 hours per week)

Working weeks are 38 weeks per year. Term time only
