Brentwood School is seeking to appoint a House Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to support Mill Hill, our girls' boarding House, at a time of significant development and expansion of boarding provision in the School. This is a Temporary Term Time only role.
Key responsibilities include supporting the Houseparent with the day-to-day running of Mill Hill, supporting the team of House tutors and House staff in Mill Hill and providing administrative support to the Houseparent, including responding to parent and guardian emails, preparing letters home and assisting with the organisation of boarding events eg introductory meetings and parents' evenings.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, an ability to work both independently and collaboratively, have outstanding communication skills, display an absolute commitment to the highest standards of professional behaviour and promote the welfare and safeguarding of children and young people.
