Job Description

Contract Type: Part-time 14.5 hours with the possibility of an additional 1 hour per week for a lunch club.

Contract Term: Fixed term for 1 year

Holy Trinity C of E Primary School is seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and flexible Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team.

This is part-time and hours are spread across the week.

The role will include working with a range of pupils to support their learning, both in and outside of the classroom. The applicant should have the confidence to deliver personalised curriculums, using adaptive teaching strategies.

The role will also include working 1:1 with a pupil with medical needs, whereby the successful applicant will need to follow the pupils daily careplan in order to meet personal and medical needs.

The successful applicant will

be self motivated
be flexible
have the ability to form trusted relationships with both children and staff
have experience of working with pupils with additional needs
have an ability to nurture self esteem and confidence
GCSE grade C or Level 2 equivalent in English and maths is desirable
