A fixed term position,Scale 5-6, 20-30 hours per week based on a split shift Monday - Friday.
Woodham Ley is part of the Robus Multi Academy Trust, and we are seeking to appoint a dedicated Caretaker/Site Manager who will take pride in the management, maintenance and cleanliness of our school premises. The role requires a person who is proactive, hardworking and motivated. Proven practical maintenance skills and experience of Health and Safety are essential.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and friendly caretaker or site manager dependant on the candidates' experience. The role is initially on a fixed term basis for 1 year, which could be made permanent dependant on school requirements and the successful candidate's performance.
The role is varied and requires flexibility and adaptability with a 'can do' approach.
The successful applicant will have opportunities to work across the Robus Multi Academy Trust and work in collaboration with the other site staff.
Duties will include: -
Site security and key holder, including occasional late evening functions and lettings
Responsibility for site health and safety matters
Maintenance and cleanliness of the site to include line management of the cleaning team
Liaising with external contractors with the ability to solicit quotations for best value for site works
Working as part of a hardworking and friendly team
Knowledge of 'Iam Compliant' would be advantageous but not essential

Woodham Ley is a one form entry primary school, located in Benfleet, Essex. We are part of the Robus Multi Academy Trust.
The school is a bright and spacious building, with extensive grounds, including an excellent outdoor provision for the Early Years Department. In addition to the seven classrooms, there is an extended services hub and pre-school facility on site.
