We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and efficient candidate who will share and promote our vision by joining our Administration Team. The successful candidate will be expected to work on their own initiative as well as being part of a team. You will be enthusiastic, able to multi-task and have the ability to work quickly, independently and flexibly with a 'can do' attitude. As the first point of contact for stakeholders the ideal candidate will be professional in both conduct and appearance.
We are looking for someone who:
- Will provide a friendly, knowledgeable and effective school reception service to stakeholders
- Is thorough and accurate, with an eye for detail
- Is enthusiastic in the use of IT to improve systems and communication
A knowledge of SIMS is desirable but is not essential as training is available. The ideal candidates will hold a full first aid certificate or be willing to attend training.
The office is the hub of the school and a helpful, calm and approachable attitude is essential.
The hours of work are 32.5 hours per week term time plus INSET days, 8.30am-3.30pm with 30 minute unpaid lunch break. The salary is Thurrock Band 2, range 3-10 (£12,297 actual salary).

East Tilbury Primary School & Nursery converted to Academy Status in April 2012 as a partner in St Cleres Co-operative Academy Trust. We are a three/four form entry school in a semi-rural location, only a 5 minute walk from East Tilbury Station which is on the C2C Fenchurch - Shoeburyness Line. .
