Family Support Worker for the North Essex Multi-Academy Trust, based at
The Ramsey Academy, Halstead
30 - 37 hours/week; 40 weeks per year plus 5.4 weeks paid holiday
(full time or part time considered)
Local Government Band 3 points 12 - 17. Actual starting salary £15,242 (30 hours) or £18,798 (37 hours) per annum.

We are seeking to employ a Family Support Worker to join our Family and Schools Together Team (FAST), providing practical and emotional support to children and their families/carers. Working in partnership with staff in local primary schools you will lead initiatives to promote student wellbeing and parental engagement to improve learning outcomes.
The successful candidate will be able to evidence substantial experience of working with children and families to deliver improved outcomes. You will need to understand the needs of children and their parents/carers and will demonstrate a clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
