We are looking for Midday Assistants to play an important part in lunchtimes.

Part Time: 9 hours 35 minutes per week (11:40 - 13:35 daily)

Working Weeks: Term time only (38 weeks)

Pay Scale 2: Full Time Equivalent £20,812-£21,189: Actual salary £4,507 -£4,589 p.a. (pending pay award)

We are looking for friendly, adaptable Midday Assistants to:

-set up the hall in preparation of lunches, for example putting up tables
-help the younger children with their food when required
-wipe tables, clear spillages and help tidy the hall ready for the afternoon's activities
-supervise children in the lunch hall/playground/ classroom during wet play
-encourage imaginative play, both outside and indoors
-ensure the good behaviour of pupils
-administer first aid

You must be able to work effectively as a part of a team, enjoy working with children and demonstrate good communication and organisation skills along with patience and understanding. Training, including basic first aid, will be provided.
