Riverside Primary School is a popular, oversubscribed, community primary school at the heart of the charming village of Hullbridge. We are looking to appoint a SEN Midday Assistant to work in our busy school to maintain the safety, welfare and good conduct of specific pupils with SEN during the midday break. Hours will be Monday to Friday for 1 hour and 20 minutes per day during the lunch period from 11:50 am to 1:10pm
Training and ongoing support will be available as part of our commitment to staff development.
Riverside Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expects all staff to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be offered a position subject to full pre-employment checks including an enhanced DBS disclosure.
In accordance with our recruitment procedure and recommended practice in the statutory guidance "Keeping Children Safe in Education", the school will conduct searches for information on shortlisted candidates which is publicly available on-line. The purpose is limited:
